Safety Harbor Resort and Spa showcases a newly-renovated 50,000-square-foot spa and fitness center where your ultimate well-being is achieved through a customized menu of spa treatments, fitness and wellness programs, and exercise options that offer a complete mind, body and spirit transformation.

Florida's only Natural Mineral Springs Spa was first established here in 1925, utilizing the waters from the Espiritu Santo Springs, originally discovered in 1539 by Spanish explorer Hernando Desoto. Built on the site of these natural mineral springs, long believed to restore both youth and vitality, our signature spa treatments, three swimming pools and whirlpools all use the healing powers of this exquisite water to help you achieve your own personal rejuvenation. We also offer these restorative waters for drinking in our water stations throughout the resort.

The Spa offers guests a tranquil sanctuary designed to relax, revitalize and reconnect your mind, body and spirit while enlivening your senses. Our renowned spa treatments are provided by professional, licensed therapists who are specialists in healing both the body and the spirit for a definitive wellness experience. Select from an array of professional spa services including massage, facials, exclusive Vichy shower treatments, herbal body wraps, body scrubs, signature treatments and more. When you come to the resort for a spa service, you can stay with us for the entire day – enjoying all the resort amenities and facilities. Upon arrival for your spa day, you’ll slip into one of our luxurious robes to wear for the day. It is common to see many guests in robes throughout the resort, enjoying lunch in the restaurant, on the front patio, lounging by the pool or enjoying refreshments at the waterfront tiki bar.

World-Class Spa Amenities

Additional spa amenities for your use include steam rooms, saunas, ladies’ plunge pool, indoor pool, whirlpools and outdoor lap pool. There is also a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring separate cardio and weight rooms. Daily fitness classes are also available, including yoga, Pilates, Zumba, tai chi and water classes, including our popular Aqua Yoga.

**Please note: Advance reservations are required for all spa services, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins. For the relaxation of our guests, persons under 16 years of age are unable to access the Spa, Fitness, Indoor Wellness & Fitness Pool areas. Guests with limited mobility MUST bring a caregiver to accompany them to spa services. SHRS providers are unable to assist guests with limited mobility.
